CATCH together with BEPSII, ASPeCt, PACES and QuIESCENT successfully co-organized and held the a first planning workshop on planning the upcoming International Polar Year (IPY) 2032/33 with the topic of chemical, biogeochemical, and physical drivers of the polar atmosphere and climate at Aussois, France (17-22 November 2024) with almost 100 participants (44 on-site, ~55 online). The programme can be found here.

CATCH together with BEPSII, ASPeCt, PACES and QuIESCENT urge world leaders and their representatives attending COP29 to commit to immediate and substantial de-carbonization and to collaborate in implementing the measures necessary to achieve this goal.
